This post is very gay

Xanga ...when was it that you lost grace?
Oh yeah! I know ...when everyone started lying about their ages to join Myspace.
I know that I've been behind your back with Livejournal, and neglected you enough, but I'll never forget my roots here at ol' Xanga.

I'd revamp this only if I didn't have a Livejournal. It would be pointless to own two journals appealing to two audiences about the same thing. It just sounds stupid.
But rest assured, Xanga -you will serve your function to me in the near future.

In other news, life is getting better, and I got a job. I'm about to get a second one, if all goes well.

Well, gave up.
Moved back to California.
Be back anywhere between 3 to 5 months.
Hard to say "bye" temporarily to loved ones. Especially Bailey. I miss her hella bad.
Graduate anytime between aforementioned timespan. Should be promising.
Going to start working construction a lot. I go to school one day a week and get homework for the week to come. It's great.

I love my family.
I love my girlfriend.
I love my friends.
I'm starting to like being a senior.
Life's slowly building momentum.

Also, I'll have pictures from our tour dates with Bloc Party pretty soon. That's if Steven stops being a fucking weiner and sends me the pictures. You can pull a YouTube search for J versus K and find live videos of us opening for Bloc Party in Houston and Austin. Close friends and girlfriend came (yes!). In short, tour ruled -playing in front of sold out crowds. Eeks!
I'm guessing our opening date for Minus the Bear fell through. There's more of a chance we'll open for Yeah Yeah Yeah's as soon as they set a date here -we're running through the same guy who booked the J versus K/Bloc Party dates.

Furthermore, I know none of you read this, which would make this "rant" obsolete, but Bloc Party is opening for fucking Panic! at the Disco. Seriously. What the fuck. They're slowly losing their credibility (although their music is still catchy and rockin').

Go the link for a list of live videos from Bloc Party shows.

Also, I like using the same userpicture for every internet device, sans livejournal. Makes life easier, I suppose.

I leave tomorrow for New York. 4-or-some days spent not having to care about work, money, moving, or stress. I'm completely excited about it.
As soon as I come back, I know I'm going to have a lot of work to do with moving into Vanessa's and finding a job in Arlington. Metting challenges head-on is kind of ... ridiculous.

Postponing introspection through denial and self rejection -there is no inevitable oppression. We are digging our own graves. We're afraid of what we feel so our lives remain the same -uphold the status quo as if there's someone else to blame. Who will cast away our ashes after we've thrown ourselves into the flames?

"People grow so used to fear, to murder, to contempt and hate that they become deaf to whatever in them whispers that maybe they are wrong, and their attitude simply reflects what they loathe in their own lives. That is why they prefer drugs to suppress their despair - the illusion of instant cure keeps them going. But the cancer which devours them remains."
-Raoul Vaneigem

Worst Decision Ever

Last night, I lost a bet on a game of cards, so now I have to listen to Bright Eyes, continuously, for a week, and learn one of kOnAr OhbUrstz' songs. Ewwwwwww.
